Triceratopses (also called Toros in Mexirock) are species of horned dinosaurs which existed during the Stone Age featured in the franchise of The Flintstones.

Background

Triceratopses were large quadrupedal dinosaurs with crested heads, two horns on their heads and one horn on their noses, although some smaller triceratopses only had one or two horns despite their name. They came in at least two sizes, with most being twice as large as a caveman and others being only half the size of one. Their behavior was much like modern bulls and bullasauruses except they were way more aggressive.

Triceratops Drill - The Astranuts

A triceratops excavation drill from "The Astra' Nuts".

Unlike brontosauruses, pterodactyls and stegosauruses, Triceratopses were not as common or as widely used by cavemen, not even for vehicles, appliances, decorations or as a food source, presumably due to their aggressiveness. However a few uses could be found for them, as at least one triceratops was used as an excavation drill at Slate's Rock and Gravel Company in Bedrock and Triceratops juicers were also existing appliances. Smaller breed of triceratopses (that resembled real life zuniceratopses) were used as golf carts in golf courses. However, triceratopses were more popularly used as rodeo animals, either to challenge riders or to be challenged in a match for survival.

Dronkasaurus

Snoots, a Dronkasaurus.

Dronkasauruses were a small breed of teal triceratopses that were kept as pets by cavemen. The most notable Dronkasaurus character was Snoots, Bamm-Bamm's pet from The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, The New Fred and Barney Show and a few other appearances.
