"The Monster from the Tar Pits" (known as "Monster from the Tar Pits") is the first segment of the sixteenth episode of the first season and the sixteenth overall episode of The Flintstone Kids, a spin-off of the original series, The Flintstones. It aired on November 1, 1986.

Synopsis

While making a home movie in the Bedrock Swamp, Freddy dreams about going to Monster Island and capturing the Tar Monster. When the Tar Monster escapes while being exhibited in Bedrock, Freddy must catch him and return him to Monster Island.
