The Flintstones spun off at least three comic books published by Western Publishing and based on the original series of the same name. It ran a total of sixty-six issues from 1961 to 1970.
Comic Issues
The first issue (known as Dell Giant Comics Issue #48 and The Flintstones: Bedrock Bedlam) was published in June 1961 and five issues (#2 - #6) were published by Dell Comics from November 1961 to July 1962. Then, fifty-four issues (#7-#60) were published by Gold Key Comics from October 1962 to September 1970. Also, the limited two-issues including Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm were published, the first from 1963 and the second from 1964. Plus, four issues with Top Comics were published in 1967.
