Sheepasauruses (known as Lambasauruses or Ramasauruses) are species of sheep featured in the franchise of The Flintstones.
Background[]
Sheepasauruses were woolly hoofed creatures much like modern sheep but occasionally had a single horn on the top of their heads. Early in the franchise all sheepasauruses looked exactly like modern sheep, but later appearances depicted with single horns and more reptilian features. The females were relatively domesticated and friendly in all of their appearances, however male sheepasauruses (also called ramasauruses) were known to be aggressive and territorial in all of their appearances, only ever being seen in the wild.
Uses[]
Clothing[]
The wool on their bodies was used for knitting clothes. Wilma and Betty were often seen with their knitting needles making clothes out of sheepasaurus wool taken straight from live sheepasauruses, as seen in the third special, "Wind Up Wilma" from The Flintstone Primetime Specials and the television film, Hollyrock-a-Bye Baby for example, and many more.
Breeds & Relatives[]
Sheepasauruses had both mammalian and reptilian breeds.
