Mr. Slate is a one-time character of the episode, "The Engagement Ring", featured in the first season of the original series, The Flintstones.

Background

Mr. Slate is a poor husband and father, who was in debt with Buddy Buddy Credit Jewelers for buying an expensive toaster from them.

Mr. Slate is a tall and stout caveman with fair skin, tan stubbles, a bald head with three hair strands, chest hairs, black eyes, thick black eyebrows and wears a light-green loincloth with a torn hemline and a white hat with a black center stripe.
