John Stephenson (August 9, 1923 – May 15, 2015) was an American screen and voice actor and a veteran of the Hanna-Barbera animated cartoons, best known as the original voices of Fred's boss, Mr. Slate and other characters in the original series, The Flintstones and its spin-offs.
