"I Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool No More" is a song of the episode, "Ann-Margrock Presents", featured in the fourth season of the original series, The Flintstones.
Premise[]
When Hollyrock star, Ann-Margrock stars in her own show, The Ann-Margrock Show at the Bedrock Bowl, she sings a song along with Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble as co-stars and says good-night to a very special listener, Pebbles one last time as the song ends.
Lyrics[]
I ain't going to be your fool no more
Cried and cried until my eyes are sore
Gave you all the love I had
Still you tried to treat me bad
I loves you but
I ain't gonna be your fool
I'm sick and tired of all your cheatin' and lyin'
I'm gonna find myself a boy to keep my heart from cryin'
Then you will be so blue
A weepin' and a moanin' and a cryin' too
I loves you but
I ain't gonna be your fool
Last night
I thought about you
About things that we used to do
About the things that we used to say
But that was yesterday
I'm a gonna change my ways
Now it's my turn to play
Gonna find me somebody new
A-take-a-place-a-you now
I ain't going to be your fool no more
Cried and cried until my eyes are sore
I gave you all the love I had
Still you tried to treat me bad
I loves you but
I ain't going to be your fool
(instrumental break)
You're going to find out just what you're done wrong
You're going to wake up in the morning baby I'll be gone
Each and every day of the week
I can't eat my dinner and I can't sleep
I loves you but
I ain't going to be your fool
I loves you but
I ain't gonna be your fool
I loves you but
I ain't gonna be your fool
