"Hot Lips Hannigan" is the second episode of the first season of The Flintstones. It first aired on October 7, 1960.

Fred is looking for an act to do for the Loyal Order of Dinasours' annual talent show. He borrows Barney's trampoline so he can surprise Wilma while shes at the dress shop. Unfortunately, his prank backfires as he ends up scaring one of the models, and leaves Wilma feeling humiliated. Fred then tries to do some magic, but ends up smashing a pile of dishes. The noise brings Betty and Barney around, and Fred offers to do the disappearing trick using a magic cabinet. Wilma and Betty volunteer and Fred apparently succeeds in making them disappear. When Barney tells him to bring them back, Fred refuses, saying they could have a night out and the wives wouldn't know about it, so they decide to go down to the Rockland Dance Hall

Unbeknownst to Fred and Barney, however, Wilma and Betty have not actually disappeared. Deciding to play along, they had snuck out through a secret door in the back of the cabinet and hid in the bedroom where they overheard Fred and Barney's plans. Disguising themselves, Wilma and Betty go down to the Rockland Dance Hall to teach their wayward husbands a lesson.

Wilma: "Take that sea lion voice of yours out of the house! Out, out out!"

Wilma:  "Of all the dumb tricks you've ever pulled, Fred, that trampoline business takes the cake. I've never been so humiliated. And when I had to explain that you were just trying to be funny, I could have frozen to death from the cold stares I got".

After Fred and Barney have left the house.

Betty: "They're gone".

Wilma: "And what's a better idea than hospitalizing them?"

Betty: "We will go down to the Rockland Dance Hall and catch them red-handed".

Wilma: Okay, then we'll hospitalize them".

Hot Lips: "Scoodily-wow-wow-wa, contact".

He is hit on the head by Wilma.

Wilma (in disguise): "There's some contact for you, you old goat-face".

Hot Lips: "Every once in a while, a moment of truth".
