Hidea Frankenstone (known as Oblivia Frankenstone) is the wife of Frank Frankenstone and one of the recurring characters featured in the franchise of The Flintstones during the late 1970's and 80's. She is the matriarch of the Frankenstones Family and was Wilma Flintstone's friendly neighbor and friend.

Background

Character History

Hidea Frankenstone made her official debut in 1979 in the episode "Fred and Barney Meet the Frankenstones" from The New Fred and Barney Show where her family just moved to Bedrock and opened up their own condominium which they dubbed the Deadrock Arms Condorstonium that was home to a large gaggle of monsters.

In 1980, Hidea along with the Frankenstones starred in the primetime special, The Flintstones' New Neighbors. Later, Hidea and her family finally received their own animated segment in The Flintstone Comedy Show focusing entirely around them. Fours years later, the Frankenstones made their final animated appearance in The Flintstone Funnies, however the show was mostly repackaged segments from The Flintstone Comedy Show.

Physical Appearance

Hidea is a tall and slender woman with light pale green skin, black eyes with eyelashes and purple eyelids, thin eyebrows, red lips, and long black and beige gray hair. She wears a dark purple (later red) long-sleeved and slitted loin-cloth dress with a plum purple apron (later white) and grayish-blue stone earrings.
