"Going Ape" is the sixth segment of the second episode of the first season and the twenty-seventh overall segment of The Flintstone Comedy Show (known as Flintstone Frolics), a spin-off of the original series, The Flintstones. It aired on December 13, 1980.

Synopsis[]

An escaped gorillasaurus confides to Cavemouse that he left the zoo because everyone laughed at him. Dino attempts to capture the beast and earn the reward. Dino overlooks the ape's strength and Cavemouse's ingenuity.
