Background[]

A.A. Carborundum is the Southern-accented owner of A.A. Carborundum and Company with a fleet of school buses known as Car Barns who hires temporary bus driver, Fred along with his partner, Barney to pick up children on the way to the Red Rock School House in Bedrock.

Physical Appearance[]

Role in the episode[]

He owned a fleet of school buses and hired Fred as a driver when Fred temporarily lost his job at the quarry. He assigned Fred the route from Bedrock to the Red Rock School House, which had been assigned to several other drivers. What he didn't mention was that all those other drivers had abruptly quit after losing their minds. Later, he received calls from concerned parents, claiming that Fred had left their kids stranded instead of dropping them off at their homes. He went ballistic when he found out one of the stranded kids was his own son, Alvin. Later, when Fred brought a woman in labor to the hospital, A.A. was there along with Wilma, Betty, Barney, and J.J. Granite.
