"Fred Goes Ape" is the second segment of the first episode of the first season of The Flintstone Comedy Show (known as Flintstone Frolics), a spin-off of the original series, The Flintstones. It premiered and aired on November 22, 1980.

Synopsis[]

Protesting that babysitting zoo animals is not a job for Bedrock's two finest policemen, Fred and Barney are assigned to feed the animals and guard the zoo before the zookeeper returns, until a gorillasaurus escapes.
