Owlasauruses (also known simply as Owls) are a species of birds which existed during the Stone Age featured in the franchise of The Flintstones.

Background

Owlasauruses were solitary and nocturnal birds with large heads, flat faces, large eyes, variously colored feathers (including the common brown or red), curved bills and feet with sharp talons.

Uses

Unlike other animals and birds that saw use in the Stone Age as appliances, like the Pterodactyls, Owlasauruses were rarely used. The only notable use one saw was as a car alarm for a Cadirock cavemobile from the episode, "The Fugitives".
