Elliot Field (June 24, 1927 - September 23, 2024) was an American radio personality and former voice actor, best known for his roles in the original animated series, The Flintstones.

Biography[]

Elliot Field was born in 1927 in the state of Massachusetts.[1] He was diagnosed with polio at the age of three. In his adult years, he became one of the "Seven Swingin' Gentlemen" on the KFWB 980 radio station in Los Angeles, California.[2] From 1959 to 1965, he was a voice actor for Hanna-Barbera. He later became an announcer on the NBC series, Dragnet.[2] In his later years, he sold autographed photos of the characters he voiced at Hanna-Barbera.
