Building Boulders (known as Kenner's Flintstones Building Boulders, Kenner's Flintstones Interlocking Building Boulders and Flintstones Building Boulders) were giant Lego-like building blocks that were made by the former sponsor, Kenner from the 1960's and based on the original series, The Flintstones.
History[]
Since the original series, The Flintstones aired on September 30, 1960, the former sponsor, Kenner created the Flintstones Building Boulders that entertained kids of all ages and also played with from generations. With those block pieces, they would build anything Flintstones-style and also topple over tall structures with a knock-down Boulder Ball.
Description[]
They were giant white (with multi-colored specks including red, yellow, green and blue) Lego-like interlocking lightweight Styrofoam plastic blocks that consisted of three sets (including 56 (#620), 100 (#1020) and 155 (#1520) pieces) with a red plastic roof and two knock-down (take-apart) Boulder Balls plus planning book sheets.
