Barney Rubble
Barney is the best friend of Fred Flinstone.[1] Often Barney finds himself in scandalous relationships with pterdactyls that are of course the appliances in the kitchen, bathroom or any other room in the house.
In the banned episode 68 Barney expresses deep passionate love for Fred that further causes awkward situations as they are walked in on by Bam Bam. Later in the episode they take him to counseling and instead of fixing his emotional trauma they realize that they are not meant for each other and must keep up the charade with their spouses until they find better men.
